WEF is driven by a simple desire: produce the kind of food we eat ourselves. And we do. Across our 35+ acres, we raise local, limited, seasonal meat and produce meant to taste good and improve our land. The best things in life are simple. We’ll be keeping it that way.
It's a novel idea: we like to gauge our beef by how happy our cows are. That’s why we feed our herd local grass and spent grain from 2 Minneapolis breweries - Back Channel Brewery and St. Paul Brewing. And flavorful beef spares no expense. That’s why WEF ground beef includes cuts of meat normally pulled from the process, making it the best you’ll find. Beef treated right.
Hugoson pigs sourced from Granada, MN forage across 2 acres of trees and growth. The best pork comes from mud pits, not kennels. Raised in small batches and fed with farm produce, our pigs consistently turn out pork that’s unrivaled. Bacon raised right.
